1. Samode

Placed at a brief distance of 42 Km from the Pinkcity, Samode is a heritage getaway from the hustle bustle of the city. Samode will be of great interest to those who value ancient art, culture and local handicraft works. You should visit the Samode Palace, Samode Bagh, Samode Fort and Samode haveli.  

2. Bhangarh

This ancient village earned a haunted reputation from a foretold fable, wherein a saint cursed the village and whoever stayed there after dusk never came back. Although it is renowned for its spooky past the place looks tranquil and scenic, especially during the monsoon. It is only 85 Km away from Jaipur 

3. Pushkar

One of the five sacred dhams for devout hindus, Pushkar is located in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan, 146 Km away from Jaipur. The town hosts one of the most famous camel and livestock fair, known as Pushkar Mela in November. Must see spots include Brahma temple and the holy Pushkar Lake.

4. Ranthambore

A 3-4 hour long drive gets you from Jaipur to Ranthambore. The city thrives on its 392 sq. Km National Park. Currently the park boasts of 61 tigers!       If you have knacks for adventure don’t miss out on Ranthambore. You should also check out the Ranthambore Fort and Surwal Lake.

5. Mandawa

Situated 188 Km from Jaipur,  Mandawa is located in the Sekhawati region of North Eastern Rajasthan. It is the homeland of many wealthy Marwari Families who played an important role in the trade along the Silk route.     The town is well known for its beautiful havelis with interesting frescoes and history. Major places to see include Castle Mandawa, Goenka haveli, Raghunath temple and the Sonthalia gate.
