Befikre Trailer Causes Expectations From Ranveer – Starrer To Soar

The official trailer of the upcoming Aditya Chopra movie, Befikre, has already led to expectations of the fans going through the roof. The trailer was released at the iconic Eiffel Tower where film’s lead character Ranveer Singh was present. Also present on the occasion were the Indian Ambassador to France and the Mayor of Paris. The trailer portrays a pretty chilled out Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, playing the roles of Dharam and Shyra, enjoying each other’s company with a carefree outlook towards life. The movie, from the Yash Raj Films stable, which stars reigning heartthrob Ranveer Singh and young actor Vaani Kapoor, is expected to be an uninhibited expression of love.

Directed by Aditya Chopra, the movie, shot in Paris and Mumbai, is slated for December release. Chopra has also been involved in writing and production of the film as well under the Yash Raj Films banner. Aditya had announced Befikre, on the 83rd birth anniversary of his father, Yash Chopra. Already, the official trailer of the movie, revealed on the 10th of October, has garnered more than 11 million views on YouTube. A song of the movie, Labon Ka Karobaar, released on YouTube on the 9th of September, is also considered a favourite. It has already got more than 3 million views on YouTube.

Ranveer Singh started his acting career under the YRF banner with the critically acclaimed movie, Band Baaja Baaraat, and considers Aditya Chopra as his mentor. He was widely appreciated for essaying the role of Bittoo, a Delhi University student, extremely convincingly. In his debut movie, he portrayed, with much aplomb, a young University and hostel student, unkempt in his ways but who matures with time. The movie became an unexpected hit and both Singh and Anushka Sharma were applauded for their performances in the movie. Thereafter, Singh also acted in a few other movies from the Yash Raj banner including Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, in which he once again was paired with Anushka Sharma. Parineeti Chopra, Dipannita Sharma and Aditi Sharma essayed key roles in the movie. Later on, he also starred in the movie, Kill Dill, in which he acted opposite Parineeti Chopra. Vaani Kapoor, on the other hand, debuted in Shuddh Desi Romance, also from the Yash Raj Films banner, and played the lead role alongwith Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.
