Enriched with a legacy of four super successful seasons, ChaT Youth Summit makes its fifth appearance this September. A two-day international mega event that extends a platform for youth – students, professionals, women – by staging interactive sessions wherein speakers and achievers from all walks of life gather and share their experiences, views and opinions. ChaT will be held on the 23rd and 24th of September, 2016, at the Birla Auditorium in Jaipur produced by Swishin Events. Changing Tomorrow endeavors to bring about an awakening amongst a large section of the youth by exposing them to pertinent issues though provoking discussions and networking among likeminded people.

ChaT Youth Summit in September, 2016, will bring forth a range of Speakers, each of whom have made a mark in their respective fields. Whether its Vinit Goenka – Expert IT, transportation & Infrastructure,  Life Coach Jasmin Waldmann or Artist – Activist Reshma Valliappan, Stand – Up Comedian Sundeep Rao and Vikramjeet Singh, Fashion Designer Jattinn Kochhar Celebrity Chef  Saransh Goila, Chintan Bakshi CEO Startup Oasis, Author Deepa Prahalad and Ashwin Abhyankar or Maverick Auto Driver and Philanthropist Sandeep Bacche, each of these individuals will add immense value at the two – day event.

SPEAKERS

Vinit Goenka – Member, Task Force- Ministry of Road, Govt of India

An active politician, Vinit Goenka’s expertise lies in the field of IT, transportation & Infrastructure and Agriculture. Vinit is currently a member of the IT Task force in the Ministry of Road, Transport & Highways and Shipping. In the ministry, he works closely with Nitin Gadkari on a range of IT initiatives. In the past, Vinit has been associated with the BJP as a National Co – convenor of the BJP central IT Cell.

Vinit is a prolific speaker who has been regularly contributing at various national as well as international events. Vinit has been a long time member of the RSS, is an ex – ABVP member and is currently the Secretary of Uttan Krishi Sanshodhan Sanstha. He also runs Nirman foundation, an NGO that creates awareness programs in colleges for eye donation. Before joining active politics, Vinit was working for global IT giant, IBM. His decision to get into active politics was inspired by his links to the RSS.

Chintan Bakshi – COO, Startup Oasis

With over six years of work experience of new project management and implementation, Chintan Bakshi brings with him a wealth of experience of running and advising new ventures and tech start – up companies. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Startup Oasis, an incubation Centre set-up meant to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2004, Chintan joined the Gujarat Grassroots Innovation Augmentation Network (GIAN), a grassroots technology incubator, as the Chief Innovation Manager. Chintan co-founded United Villages Networks (P) Ltd, a mobile-enabled rural distribution startup, in 2006 and was CEO of the company before the company was acquired by Oxigen Services India (P) Ltd in 2013.

He has been associated with reputed companies like Feedback Ventures and the Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Group). An Engineering Graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Chintan did his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Ashwin Abhyankar, Author – Innovator

An MBA in Finance from The Anderson school and a BE in electronics Engineering, Ashwin specializes in innovations in finance and IT sectors. He has a successful track record of driving $250 million in bottom line contributions.

He also has been named on two provisional patents on financial risk analytics,. Not just that, the man has co – authored an  article, “Using Games to Get a Handle on Bank Risk”, which was selected as the editor’s top choice on HBRs Finance segment.

Vikramjeet singh, Stand-up Comedian

Sleepwalked into advertising after collecting an engineering degree. Sell soap, insurance policies and other products, and a bit of my soul with each. Fittingly, I’m based out of Delhi, thriving on the city’s food and food for thought.

Deepa Prahalad, Author

Ranked #34 on the inaugural Thinkers 50 India list, Deepa Prahalad is an author, a design strategy consultant with emphasis on emerging markets. She has researched and co – authored the book, Predictable Magic: Unleash The Power of Design Strategy To Transform Your Business. The book was selected by fast Company as one of the “Best Design Books of the Year”. A B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, she is a frequent blogger on the Huffington Post, Harvard Business Review, and other magazines.

Deepa also mentors social entrepreneurs and serves on the Advisory Boards of the Global Peter Drucker Forum and Arogya World and is also a elected member of the International Academy of Management and the Center for Digital Transformation at University of California.

Chef Saransh Goila – Chef, Author, TV Show Host

At 29, he is an inspiration to all the aspiring chefs of India and a maverick in his own right! We are proud to introduce India’s youngest celebrity chef – Saransh Goila. At an impressionable age of 12, Saransh displayed a contagious passion for all things “food”.

The intuitive, talented and down-to-earth Chef Saransh Goila received appreciation as the Anchor and Chef Consultant for the Food Food channel. He was also a widely followed Food Columnist at the Discover India magazine. His show, which was trumped as India’s biggest food travelogue show, ‘Roti, Rasta Aur India’, where he travelled 20,000 kms by road in a period of 100 days to discover India’s bountiful food heritage, bagged a Limca Book of Records in 2014.

Agneya Singh – Filmmaker, Screenwriter, Photographer, Journalist

A graduate from the Tisch School of Arts, New York University, Agneya Singh is a filmmaker and screenwriter. He started out as a documentary filmmaker in New Delhi but subsequently began exploring narrative structures in storytelling. His focus has been in the fields of directing and cinematography. His works incorporating various subjects in documentary and narrative film have provided commentary on a  number of subjects concerning varied aspects related to society and polity. A perceptive mind can easily make out that the notion of rebellion and the idea of protest occur repeatedly in hid body of work. Several film festivals and media showcases have screened his short films and videos. His first feature film titled M CREAM was directed recently.

Jattinn Kochhar – Designer

Well – known fashion designer Jattinn Kochhar launched his label in the year 1991, when he was all of 19. A designer of international repute, Jattinn has showcased his creations in more than ten countries, including Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Egypt, Singapore, South Africa, Russia. Jattinn’s forte lies in his ability to amalgamate Indian heritage with true urban influences. Jattinn has been associated with several popular television shows such as Khoobsurat, Fashion Square, The India show. His expertise in conceptualizing and styling has been put to good use in several television shows. He has been associated with radio as well.

In the past, Jattinn has been the Director General of National Institute of Fashion Design and has also conducted workshops on various aspects of fashion with some of the best fashion institutes across the country. Jattinn has also written on Fashion and other lifestyle related topics for some of the leading dailies.

Priya Kumar – Author, Motivational Speaker

Sandeep Bacche – Maverick Auto Driver, Philanthropist

Sandeep Bacche is as maverick as it gets. An auto – driver by profession, the man knows how to make the best use of his limited means. Out on the Bandra roads, the man, who has won eleven awards in his career of seventeen years, has oodles of style quotient going for him.

This Bandra man takes unique pride in going out of the way in providing luxury and comfort to his passengers. Consider this: His uber stylish auto is equipped with an LCD Television and a pay phone. Not just that, it comes with a free first – aid, a cell phone charger and believe it or not, even a Wifi connection.

On the surface, Sandeep is professional to boot. But, at heart he is a philanthropist who goes out of his way, to help those in actual need. He not just provides discounted rides to the visually challenged, differently abled, senior citizens and also newly married, he may not charge a penny in case of medical emergency. Each ride in his auto means Sandeep contributing Rupees 2 to charity.

Reshma Valliappan – Artist, Activist

Reshma Valliappan is an artist – activist who has worked on a number of issues related to mental health, disability, sexuality and human rights., She has been the protagonist in the Public Service Broadcasting Trust documentary, “A Drop of Sunshine”, based on her true story of recovery and living with schizophrenia without medications.

She has a distinct personality and a face that is difficult to ignore, what with numerous piercings, tattoos. She was spotted as one of the faces for a feminist human rights organization, CREA’s special; series on “United Against 377” for Youth Ki Awaaz.

Her book, an autobiographical account of her life after being diagnosed with schizophrenia, is “Fallen, Standing: My Life as a Schizophrenist”. It is the first of its kind on schizophrenia. It sheds light on the issues of stigma, human rights, legal rights and what it means to live without medications.

Sundeep Rao – Stand – Up Comedian

India’s only partially visually impaired comedian, Sundeep Rao can make any gathering lively with his gregarious presence. This Bengaluru – based comic artist, voted as India’s funniest partially blind stand – up comic can be a delightful entertainer replete with high energy style and unique observations.

Sundeep can bowl the audience over with his straight as an arrow humour, his excellent comic timing and his ability to express himself lucidly on stage with his opinions and observations.

Sundeep has been a professional comic star since 2012. He is also an improvisational actor and a voice – over artist whose dry humour has been enthralling the audiences in various parts of India.

Jasmin Waldmann – Life Coach

Jasmin Waldmann is one of the best life coaches. Also known as the saviour and relief provider, she has been conducting number of Life coaching programs with her holistic approach towards fitness. She has imparted her life coaching lessons to people from different walks of life like athletes, businessmen and women, celebrities and the elderly.

Born in Bavaria in Germany, Waldmaann emerged stronger after suffering a personal setback. Amit Asawa – Cricket Coach

Amit Aswa has been the Chief Coach of the Rajasthan Ranji team which won the Ranji Trophy for the first time. Amit has played for the state of Rajasthan for ten years during which he played 26 Ranji matches as a part of playing eleven. He has also represented Central Zone in the Duleep Tophy in 1987 – 1988. He has been a coach at the BCCI Specialist Academy and a Director at the RCA Academy.

Amit’s career objectives include contributing towards development of cricket by imparting quality cricket education to players so as to produce fine cricketers. Amit was nominated by the RCA on the behalf of the BCCI as a mentor of coaches appearing for level C Coaches Course in 2010.

Fluent in multiple languages, Amit likes reading literature on sports, teaching gold f to his son and listening to music.
