ChaT as the name suggests is about changing OUR tomorrow by conversing and connecting. In the age when the space on social media is only burgeoning, it’s impossible not to connect. But to connect through this two-day event (where an assortment of speakers tells you how to do what you do in a better and more impactful manner) is what makes all the difference.
That precisely was the idea when the event was launched in 2011 when it had AIB comedian Gursimran Khamba – yes you heard it right – as one of the speakers.
ChaT is back. And, it has a new guru – social media guru – on the panel. The international youth event which begins today is aimed at igniting thoughts to make everyone a leader in whichever field they are. The target audience is 16 to 26 years age group. In 2011 – let’s call it version 1.0 – there were 450 delegates. This time, the projection is much more.
It promises to be a platform for youths (students and professionals, alike) to engage on specific topics and network with different national and international delegates. Entrepreneurs, authors, mavericks, artist, visionaries, the event is a melting pot for all these people. It gives youths mind shifts, ideas and the right connections to significantly expand your ability to go big things in life.
Previous versions of the event have seen speakers like actor and choreographer Javed Jaaferi, naukari.com founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani, former Jaipur royal and now an MLA Princess Diya Kumari, Goonj founder Anshu Gupta, designer Raghavendra Rathore, youngest mobile app developer Shravan Kumaran, politician Alka Lamba, youngest Indian to summit Mt Everest Arjun Vajpai, Dabbawalas CEO Pawan Agrawal, Gangs of Wasseypur lyricist Varun Grover, RedBus CEO and co-founder Phanindra Sama, actor Arya Banerjee and author Ira Trivedi.
If that sounds like a tempting array, read on for this year’s speakers. In inside pages, we have profiled all of them so you know a little about them before you hear them. Here are the thumbnails: cardekho.com founder Amit Jain, RJ and entrepreneur Roshan Abbas, stand-up comedians Nishant Joke Singh and Abhijit Ganguly, actor and Celebrations CEO Shireesh Sharma, technologist Rohit Gupta, Youth Ki Awaaz founder and editor-in-chief Anshul Tewari, nutrition and fitness coach Luke Coutinho and strategic brand consultancy firm owner Akancha Srivastava.
Spread across two days of 45-minute sessions including 15 minutes for Q&A, each individual session seeks to tackle a particular issue or situation commonly faced in the life of the youth, delivered by young leaders who have set an example for society through their unique and inspiring thoughts which give a different dimension to life. This new and radical form of leadership known as Thought Leadership which involves the spreading of ideas, is rapidly changing the way the human race thinks, thereby accelerating the rate of progress unlike ever before in human history.
ChaT is intended to edify you how to bring out the most of your potential as a human being.
So whatever you do, whether it’s running a business or looking to jazz up your career, ChaT will teach you how to do more, accomplish heights, and get to your goals faster while having tons of fun and enjoying life.
Each activity, speaker, party is devised and sequenced in such a way to give you key ideas you can instantly absorb into your life. The event promises to invent itself, where learning, inspiration, stimulation & fun will go hand in hand. It is an endeavor to bring together young people who are going to be the catalysts of change, which will be the change and be a part of an initiative to change tomorrow.
