College of Hospitality Administration Jaipur organized Grand Finale of their Inter-School Culinary Young Chefs Challenge – Season 4 recently at College Campus.

The first round of the competition was held in more than 30 schools and 14 teams made it to the Grand Finale. Students were given the “Daawat-E-Khas” Theme which include 4 cuisines namely Wazwaan (Kashmiri), Mughlai, Awadhi (Lakhnavi) & Dakkhani (Hyderabadi) where they had to prepare a 3 Course Menu including Starters, Main Course & Desserts. The Ingredients & cutlery were provided by the institution. Students showcased their culinary art and innovation in preparing creative dishes. This competition inspired many students to join kitchen profession in the hotels. These young chefs made innovative dishes, generated exotic flavours and were appreciated by everyone. The excitement of the participation was incredible and the students came with full confidence and enthusiasm. All the supplies were arranged in an elegant manner and the competition started with good dishes. Chef from the Hospitality Profession who came to judge the budding chefs was none other than Chef Vikash Prasad Executive Chef of Crowne Plaza Jaipur & Chef Manohar Singh Devandi executive Chef of Royal Orchid Jaipur.  

After a tough competition between the various participants and their excellent dishes Children’s Academy stood as Winners of the competition while American International School &  St. Soldiers Public School were awarded the 1st & 2nd Runners-Up respectively. The purpose of this competition was to bring out the opportunities to those who have real passion in cooking and want to make it their profession. Cooking is an art and these young students do posses this art.
