Gitanjali International Jaipur Fashion Week brings glitterati to the town

Jaipur: Continuing with the grand success of previous seasons, Gitanjali Lifestyle International Jaipur Fashion Week Season-3 began on 25th September 15, amidst glitter, glamour and Bollywood charm casting an irresistible spell over the entire audience. Brought up by Storm Fashion Company and Gitanjali Lifestyle, this fashion show is being held at Hotel Lalit on 25th-27th September 15. The event has a legacy of enhancing the Fashion Quotient of people through scintillating display of myriad of creations by renowned and upcoming talents presented by top notch models and Bollywood personalities.

The highlights of Day 1 featured a sparkling presentation by Pallavi Sethi, Jaipur whose most exclusive creations captured the evolution and journey of attires through their customary past to modern times symbolizing changes in social orders and trends. Her collection exuded both, the traditional grandeur and international appeal.  Her collection depicted themes like parties, wedding celebrations, Sufi Nights, pool parties and our cultural festivities. JFW Changing Tomorrow

This was followed by the display of Jaipur’s Aruna Singh’s collection. Her creations represented woman empowerment and the new found influence today’s women exercise over social mores including fashion. Aruna’s collection showcased the shimmering mix of Indian – international fusion inspired design elements and ethnic embroidery – gota work, aari and pittan. Her creations employed beauty enhancing chiffon, georgette and net fabrics making a bold use of vibrant shades like peach, pink and red-blue.

Day- 2 (26th September 15) of the show shall feature Nazia Syed of Chennai, Kolkata’s Agnimitra Paul and Rocky S from Mumbai. The final day (27th September 15) will feature Hari Anand of Kochi, Sanjana Jon, Delhi’s Jatin Kochhar, Rakesh Singh and Gazal Mishra (Studio Madhogarh).JFW CT
