College of Hospitality Administration (CHA) has entered its 13th year in the field of Hotel Management and introduced its 1st year batch (B. Sc. – Hospitality & Hotel Management) for the session 2018 on 16th June 2018. The College was started by Anand Yadav in 2005, the aim being to provide students an education of global standards and make them industry-ready.

The college had an induction program to make the batch of 60 new students familiar with the college. Further, a number of induction programs were held in various sectors of hospitality and management by renowned experts from the Industry. The program continued for 2 weeks.

The induction program was a positive initiative by the college that went a long way in making the new comers comfortable and familiar with the industry on one hand, and preparing them to enter the industry as perfect hoteliers amidst ever rising standards of hospitality in modern times, on the other. The first day has an ice-breaking session to habituate the new students at the campus.

In this 2 week’s induction program, a session on Personality Development was taken by Anand Yadav, the institute’s Managing Director which aimed to make the students industry-ready. Other sessions with specific and professionally pertinent purposes were also held that included FLAMBE session – that entails usage of spirits to enhance flavor, Mocktail Bar session, Spice Identification, Sandwich Making competition, Vegetables & Fruits Carving session, Grooming session, etc. All these sessions promoted learning with fun activities. The program also included an industrial visit to Akshay Patra and guest lecture by Dushyant Singh (Entrepreneur, Restaurateur – OTH), Chef Dwarika (ITC Rajputana Sheraton), Vipul Bhargava (G.M The Lalit Hotel), Talpesh Dhila, the Airport Manager of Air Asia.

The students found this induction program very promising and educative, as they got an insight into what being an entrepreneur means, how they can utilize hotels management in the present restaurant business, whether the restaurant business is worth taking the risk. They all were very upbeat about the fact that they got to interact with such an eminent personality from the Jaipur

The regular classes shall begin on 2nd July 2018.
