The Indian Naval Symphonic Orchestra Band captured the hearts and minds of the music enthusiasts Jaipurites with the foot tapping music today at Central Park. The world famous naval band consisted of 83 musicians and 8 conductors, performing on different compositions. The Band had also recently performed at renowned military band festivals like Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Scotland and Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival at Moscow.
The performance regaled and enthralled the audience with a wide range of repertoire of stirring Martial Music, patriotic songs, Marshal Music, arrangements of Western Classical, Indian Classical and other forms of contemporary popular and Bollywood numbers including a tribute to Raj Kapoor with group and solo performances.
It is to be noted that the musicians performing at the evening were of age group of below 30 years and were from every State of the Indian country. This performance are being done under the Naval week in which they had performed at the Republic day parade in New Delhi. During the melodious evening the band engrossed closely with the audience, incorporating varied choices like fanfare, overture, fusion, xylophonic, pop, swing and patriotic music, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
