Staying true to their commitment for exploring the unexplored, Western Motorsports and Jeypore Bike Riders are all set for the 5th consecutive year for their yearly ride “Tour-de-Thar”, from 24th-29th December.
This year organisers planed an exciting route to Jawai visiting the Pratap Smarak. Reach Jawai and if time permits head out for the evening Leopard Safari. Setup camp in the comfort of Kahai Farms. On the following day, an early morning Leopard Safari and head out to explore the trails around Jawai Dam. Next on the itinerary, the quaint town of Bhinmal and witness how the famous carft of Rajasthani Jootis. Further following the untouched back roads, ride along the Luni River and reach Barmer on their third day. Next riders plan to visit the 11th century Kiradu Temples, also known as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan and continue ride nearby the Indo-Pakistan border to visit the Munabao International Railway Station and then heading deep into the mighty Thar Desert. On the end of our 4th day riders will reach Khudi Dunes to enjoy second last night of the ride under the million star sky.
The last day of ride ends after a long day of riding through the Wild Thar Desert leading to the ancient town of Osian, celebrate the last night of the ride in the company of the local Folk Artists dancing and performing around the bonfire. Next morning riders split from Osian to ride back to our individual destination with promise to visit the mighty Thar yet again in Dec 2017. The group heading to Jaipur follows the back roads to Mathaniya to visit famous Chilly plantations known for its Red Chilly.
