Chief Minister Inaugurates Wipro’s First Hydraulic Plant in North India

Boost to Employment and Industrial Growth in Rajasthan with New Hydraulic Plant, CM Assures Full Support to Investors

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the first-ever Wipro hydraulic plant in North India at Mahindra World City, Jaipur. Speaking at the event, he highlighted that this plant will significantly boost employment and contribute to the state’s economic growth. The Chief Minister emphasized that Rajasthan holds immense potential for industrial development, and his government is committed to supporting investors. He extended an invitation to investors for the upcoming Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit scheduled from December 9-11, 2024.

Sharma noted the growing demand for hydraulic cylinders across various sectors like construction, agriculture, mining, and utility services. The new plant is expected to meet this demand domestically and internationally. He also expressed hope for future expansion of the facility.

Focusing on the state’s industrial progress, the Chief Minister mentioned recent initiatives, including the Industrial Policy-2024, Export Promotion Policy, and One District-One Product Policy. These efforts aim to improve logistics, boost exports, and enhance the state’s industrial ecosystem. He added that infrastructure developments, such as expanding road networks and building greenfield expressways, will drive industrial growth over the next five years.

The event also witnessed praise from Wipro Chairman Azim Premji, who commended the state government for its timely support, enabling quick completion of the plant. He also appreciated the state’s efforts in improving education and healthcare through the Azim Premji Foundation.

Before the event concluded, the Chief Minister toured the facility, accompanied by key dignitaries including Kailash Verma, Ajitabh Sharma, and representatives from Wipro and JCB India Ltd.
