The 11th edition of the prestigious India Stonemart 22 will be held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) at the Sitapura industrial area in Jaipur from 10 to 13 November. It is being organised by the Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS), with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) as the co-organiser and Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Limited (RIICO) as the Principal Sponsor.
India Stonemart 2022 will be the largest international exposition on stone industry which will showcase the world of natural dimensional stones, ancillary products and services comprehensively. The event will bring together various stakeholders of the stone industry: domestic and overseas producers, exporters, importers and consumers. Also under one umbrella will be the buyers, experts, technology providers, architects, builders, developers, among others. It will provide an ideal platform to the exhibitors to promote their products, services and brand image amongst the consumers from across the globe and establish business linkages and networking with them for enhancing their business horizon and prospects. This was informed by ACS, Industries, Government of Rajasthan, Veenu Gupta.
ACS Industries further said that more than 350 exhibitors from India and abroad are expected to participate from as many as 17 States and Union Territories. Gujarat and Orissa will also have their state pavilions. The international pavilions will be showcased by Turkey, Iran and Portugal. Participation from Italy and China has also been confirmed.
There will be a wide display of natural stones, quartz stone slabs, mining and processing machinery, Heavy Earth Moving machinery, tools, consumables under one roof as in the past editions.
Trade delegation and a large number of trade visitors/buyers from different countries and from other parts of India are expected to visit India Stonemart 2022. So far over 500 international visitors from 47 countries have already registered for participation.
The other concurrent events will be the Jaipur Architectural festival, a buyer-seller meet, and Shilpgram.
The Managing Director of RIICO, Shivprasad Nakate had recently reviewed the arrangements for the forthcoming mega event. He had given directions pertaining to layout, logistic arrangement, architecture festival, branding, etc.
It is to be noted that the biennial exposition was not held last year owing to the COVID conditions.
