A one of its kind and an ingenious startup, UnYoung India is addressing the aging populations need for engagement, occupation and leisure. A technology enabled initiative, it has launched ‘NjoyUrAge’ a mobile and web platform focused on building a vibrant community of active senior citizens. Founded by Rohit Sabherwal, a Mumbai based entrepreneur and Pranab Bhatnagar, a Jaipur based professional, the startup aspires to change the way people look at aging.
The startup is currently incubated at Bhamashah Techno Hub, Jaipur. The company was shortlisted for incubation by the Govt. of Rajasthan on the basis of its phenomenal idea and plan after multiple rounds of selection. It is also recognized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India.
The mobile application provides senior citizens an avenue to engage with peers by creating polls, participating in forums, share anecdotes and even chat one on one. It enables senior citizens to find others who share a similar interest. It encourages seniors to participate in social activities and events. The mobile app also contains a section dedicated on Health & Fitness which contains curated content for senior citizens. Seniors can also book tour packages which are curated for them. Seniors can also book services such as home refurbishing or yoga guru at home.
