If you have a dream, the Government of Rajasthan is there to give you wings to realise it. Unemployment was no doubt a biggest challenge in Rajasthan, but the Ashok Gehlot government is making all efforts to ensure that the youth get jobs or become self-employed.

It is not possible that all get government jobs, so the state government decided to organise mega job fairs in the district headquarters so that youth can get jobs in the private sector. Apart from this, a youth can start a business or a start-up for which there are many schemes through which one can get loans and other financial help.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the budget 2023-24 has announced to organise 100 Mega Job Fairs across the state and so far 8 mega fairs have been organised.

Minister of State for Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Ashok Chandna said that India is a country of youth and its biggest problem today is unemployment. Gehlot for the first time in the country is resolving this problem through mega job fairs.

Rajasthan is the leading state in the country to provide employment to youth in private and government sectors. The state government has made a favourable atmosphere for the investment in the private sector by making special policies, due to which employment opportunities are being created at a large scale. He said that the state government has given government jobs to 1.50 lakh youth, while appointment on 1.25 lakh posts is in process and Gehlot has announced to give another 1 lakh government jobs this year.

The state government this year will organise 100 mega jobs fairs at tehsil and district level and aims to get jobs to 4 lakh youth in the private companies. This will resolve the problem of unemployment as the unemployed youth will get jobs and their morale will get a boost.

More than 30,000 youth have been given employment by organising Mega Job Fairs at 8 different places including Jodhpur recently. In Jodhpur, more than 4500 youth have been selected for the jobs, which is praiseworthy.

Gehlot is making all possible efforts to benefit all the residents of the state. He recently started Mehangai Rahat camps to ensure that the benefits of various public welfare schemes reach to the general public, through which from children to elderly persons are benefitted and empowered.

Skill, Development & Entrepreneurship department secretary PC Kishan said that more than 35,000 youth had registered themselves for this job fair, of which 11,500 youth came to appear in the interview. Various companies selected 4,622 youth for the jobs and gave the offer letters. The Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) in Jodhpur also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dhone India Service Limited, Employability Bridge, Welspun India Private Limited and Anil Agarwal Foundation to provide employment to youth.

In the job fair at Jodhpur, SGMAA Company gave the offer letter to physically challenged Sangeeta resident of Jodhpur, while Shakambhari Marketing Packing and Distributing Company gave the offer letter to physically challenged Pokhararam of Gudamalani in Barmer district. Vivek resident of Jodhpur got the maximum annual package of Rs 9 lakh. He got the job offer from Adiyogi Technosoft Private Limited as a computer engineer.
