EduRevolution Unveiled on Day Two of Rising Rajasthan Summit

Focus on Technology Integration and Cultural Values in Education, Highlight Education Ministers

The second day of the Rising Rajasthan Summit witnessed the impactful “EduRevolution: Education and Opportunities” session. Distinguished speakers, including Deputy Chief Minister and Higher Education Minister Premchand Bairwa and School Education Minister Madan Dilawar, joined educators, industry leaders, and officials to deliberate on transformative changes in the education sector.

In his address, Bairwa emphasized Rajasthan’s rich heritage and the global achievements of its students, underscoring the summit’s goal of positioning Rajasthan as a leader in education. He announced the signing of multiple MoUs with investors to propel educational and economic progress. He further highlighted the government’s commitment to linking education with opportunities and incorporating session recommendations into actionable strategies for realizing the vision of a developed Rajasthan.

Bairwa elaborated on initiatives to enhance educational quality, including vocational and technical courses in the regional language and the establishment of finishing schools and modernized infrastructure under the “Kayakalp Yojana.” He affirmed the state’s alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP), offering vocational training at school levels and ensuring equitable access to advanced education for all students.

School Education Minister Madan Dilawar stressed integrating moral values and technical skills in education. He announced the phased introduction of “Bal Vatikas” in government schools and mobile schools for nomadic children to ensure universal access to education.

Prominent attendees included Danish Embassy’s Trade and Commercial Affairs Head Soren Norellund Kannik-Marquardson, IIT Jodhpur Director Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, and corporate leaders like Raghav Gupta of Coursera and Ramesh Jha of Schneider Electric India, among others.

The session reaffirmed Rajasthan’s commitment to transforming its educational landscape by blending technology, tradition, and inclusivity, paving the way for a skilled and prosperous future.
