Gehlot said that a new atmosphere will be ready with more than a crore of children collectively singing patriotic songs. He said, “The national flag was first hoisted by Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru on December 31, 1929, and it is our duty to strengthen our pledge of patriotism by hoisting the tricolour flag at our home on the 75th anniversary of the independence. We should give a message to the entire world by hoisting the national flag in our homes that there is a unique passion for patriotism in India”
The chief minister said that the country has made unprecedented progress in the last 75 years. At the time of independence even a needle was not manufactured in the country and today Indian products are being exported. Institutions such as IIT, IIM, and AIIMS are known in the entire world for their quality education. India has made excellent progress from basic facilities such as water, electricity, education, and health to science and technical education. Compared to the neighbouring countries, the roots of democracy of the country have continuously deepened in the last 75 years. Rajasthan in the last 75 years has emerged as a model state in education and health.
