On the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, ‘Shabad Kirtan’ was organized at Krishnayan in JKK on Friday evening. The event was organized by Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) and the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The audience was spellbound with the ‘Shabad Kirtan’ rendered by Ragi Gurjeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, and Ravindar Singh.
The Kirtan included soulful presentations of the following: Satguru Nanak Pargateya, Mareya Sika Jagat Vich Nanak Nirmal Path Chalaeya, Namas Kar Gurdev Ko, Koi Bily Ram Ram Koi Khudae, Teri Oth Gosai, Kar Kirpa, and Tere Gun Gawan.
‘Sutradhar – The Art of Speaking’ training program on 20 November
A training program ‘Sutradhar – The Art of Speaking’ is being organised at Krishnayan, JKK from Saturday, 20 November. The program will be held from November 20 to November 26 from 4 pm to 7 pm. The participants will be given training by Mr Rajeeva Acharya. During the sessions, participants will be introduced to the flow, fluency, pronunciation as well as use of language among other topics.
‘Dialogue on Identity’ program on Sunday, 21 November
A program on ‘Dialogue on IDENTITY’, is being organised by JKK and The Local Dialogue which will be moderated by Haridev Dadhich on Sunday, 21 November at 12 Noon in the Book Club at JKK.
The Local Dialogue is a series of facilitated structured dialogue over philosophical topics.
Musical Rendition Indovirus: Rajasthan’s Folk Fusion with Jazz on Sunday, 21 November
A musical rendition, ‘Indovirus 7: Rajasthan’s Folk Fusion with Jazz’ will be presented on 21 November at 6.30 pm at Madhyavarti in JKK. It is conceptualized by Tapesh R Panwar, and will feature MTV Coke Studio Fame, Bhanwari Devi who is going to be the highlight of the event.
