WEConnect International and TiE Global Unite to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

A Strategic Partnership to Advance Women-Owned Businesses Worldwide

WEConnect International, a global leader in supporting women-owned businesses, and TiE Global, a premier entrepreneurial network, have formed a groundbreaking partnership through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration aims to create transformative opportunities for women entrepreneurs by enhancing skills, fostering connections, and expanding their global presence.

Since its founding in 1992 in Silicon Valley, TiE Global has grown to 62 chapters across 14 countries, supporting over 15,000 members with mentoring, networking, education, funding, and incubation. This aligns with WEConnect International’s mission to bridge gender gaps in global supply chains.

Key Initiatives of the Partnership

  • Entrepreneurial Empowerment: Co-branded workshops, mentoring, and capacity-building programs.
  • Global Visibility: Showcasing women-owned businesses on international platforms.
  • Network Synergy: Shared events, resources, and opportunities across both organizations.

“This collaboration reaffirms our commitment to breaking barriers and creating economic opportunities for women worldwide,” said Elizabeth A. Vazquez, CEO and Co-Founder of WEConnect International. TiE Global Board Trustee Kanchana Raman echoed the enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of supporting women entrepreneurs in achieving global success.

This alliance reflects a shared vision for economic inclusion, ensuring women-owned businesses gain the resources, connections, and recognition needed to thrive.
