Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025’ to Unite Global Diaspora in Jaipur on December 10

Rajasthan is gearing up to host its global diaspora at the prestigious ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025’, scheduled in Jaipur on December 10. The flagship event aims to strengthen cultural, social, and economic ties with Rajasthani communities across the world and honour their remarkable contributions to the state’s growth story.

The event will be inaugurated in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who will deliver the keynote address outlining the government’s vision for global partnerships, diaspora engagement, and Rajasthan’s development roadmap. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, along with the Hon’ble Governors of Rajasthan and Punjab, Ministers, and senior officials of the Government of Rajasthan, will grace the occasion.

‘Pragati Path’ Showcase to Highlight Rajasthan’s Growth Journey

The day will begin with the inauguration of ‘Pragati Path’, an immersive exhibition depicting Rajasthan’s developmental milestones, reforms, and future aspirations.
Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, will deliver the welcome address, emphasising the state’s commitment to leveraging the strength of its global diaspora for inclusive and sustainable development.

Attendees will also witness a specially curated film celebrating the emotional bond and shared legacy between Rajasthan and its Pravasi Rajasthani community.

₹1 Lakh Crore Projects to Be Launched; Coffee Table Book Unveiling

A major highlight of the day will be the groundbreaking of projects worth ₹1 lakh crore, taking the cumulative total to ₹8 lakh crore in projects grounded in the past one year since the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024. The announcements reaffirm Rajasthan’s rapid emergence as a top investment destination.

The event will also include the launch of the Coffee Table Book “Commitment in Action”, capturing the progress of MoUs signed during the 2024 Investment Summit, reflecting partnership, progress, and policy-driven transformation.

Industry Titans to Address the Inaugural Session

The inaugural session will feature insights from India’s leading industry leaders, including:

  • Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Group
  • Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Group
  • Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power

They will share perspectives on Rajasthan’s transformation, business-friendly reforms, and the state’s rising potential as an investment powerhouse.

Key addresses will also be delivered by Haribhau K. Bagade, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, and Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, who will speak on the evolving role of the diaspora in Rajasthan’s growth narrative.

Pravasi Rajasthani Samman Awards to Honour Global Achievers

One of the most anticipated segments of the event is the ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Samman’ awards, which will recognise exceptional members of the global Rajasthani community for their distinguished achievements and contributions across diverse fields.

The inaugural ceremony will conclude with remarks by V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, followed by the National Anthem.

Open House with NRRs & Seven Sectoral Sessions

Another major highlight of the day is the Open House with Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRRs), designed to encourage dialogue, explore investment avenues, and strengthen partnerships for Rajasthan’s development.

Seven theme-based sectoral sessions will also be organised on:

  • New & Renewable Energy
  • Tourism
  • Education
  • Industry
  • Health
  • Water
  • Mining

These sessions will bring together global experts, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss opportunities, emerging technologies, and strategies for sustainable growth.

Cultural Evening to Showcase Rajasthan’s Heritage

The celebrations will conclude with a grand cultural program featuring iconic Rajasthani dance forms such as Ghoomarand Kalbelia, alongside fusion performances by leading artists—offering delegates a vibrant glimpse into the state’s rich cultural heritage.
