
Marking the completion of two years of the State Government, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Monday inaugurated a state-level exhibition at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. The exhibition, themed “New Upliftment, New Identity – A Growing Rajasthan, Our Rajasthan”, showcases the government’s achievements, public welfare schemes, development projects, innovations and key initiatives undertaken over the last two years.
During the inauguration, the Chief Minister visited various departmental stalls and reviewed models, digital presentations, tools and products related to citizen-centric services and development works. He appreciated the comprehensive display that reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and transparent governance.
At the Information and Public Relations Department (DIPR) stall, Sharma clicked a digital selfie at the selfie point and actively participated in an AI-based interactive quiz. At the Home Department stall, Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma briefed the Chief Minister about departmental innovations. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the prompt grievance redressal mechanism through the RajCOP App and lauded its effectiveness in improving public service delivery.
The Chief Minister also visited the Energy Department stall, where he was informed about grid digitalisation initiatives through a presentation by Jaipur DISCOM. Emphasising the importance of renewable energy, he stated that schemes such as PM-KUSUM and PM Surya Ghar are ambitious initiatives of the double-engine government and should be implemented extensively to benefit maximum citizens.
At the Urban Development and Housing Department stalls, the Chief Minister inaugurated two new residential schemes of the Rajasthan Housing Board for different income groups in Hanumangarh and Bhiwadi. He also symbolically distributed land lease deeds (patta) to three farmers of Jagatpura Central Spine Scheme, Block-G, benefiting a total of 20 account holders. On this occasion, he also released the Jaipur Development Authority’s digital guide.

The Chief Minister reviewed innovative initiatives at other stalls as well, including robotic machines used for sewer manhole cleaning showcased by the Autonomous Governance Department. He appreciated the use of technology to ensure safety, efficiency and cleanliness in urban services.
Observing the exhibition highlighting the State Government’s two-year achievements through publications, development models, photo and video panels, Sharma praised the efforts of the departments. He directed officials to further strengthen public awareness about government schemes so that the vision of Developed Rajasthan–2047 can be achieved at a faster pace.
Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Urban Development Jhabar Singh Kharra, Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Otaram Dewasi, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma, and Secretary and Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Sandesh Nayak were present on the occasion, along with senior officials and a large number of citizens.
Notably, the exhibition organised by the Information and Public Relations Department features stalls from Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Cooperation, Water Resources and PHED, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Disaster Management, Labour, Energy, Mines and Geology, Public Works, Urban Local Bodies, Transport and Road Safety, Information Technology, Education, Industries and Commerce, Medical and Health, Home, Food and Civil Supplies, Planning, Social Justice and Empowerment, Women and Child Development, Forest, Tourism and several other departments.
The state-level exhibition will remain open for the general public till December 18, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, providing citizens an opportunity to gain first-hand information about government policies, programmes and achievements.
